Chem-Crete Yufix CCC1000_TDS
Chem-Crete YufiX CCC1000 is a deep penetrating formulation used as a water repellent and sealer for all masonry and synthetic masonry substrates. The product is non-toxic, nonflammable, odorless, and contains no VOCs. It is a unique clear single component catalyzed non-hazardous alternative to silane and siloxane water repellents. Chem-Crete YufiX CCC1000 chemical action results in a permanent seal of the concrete or masonry substrate pores and void walls to block the ordinary capillary action of water. Chem-Crete YufiX CCC1000 produces a highly effective, breathable sealer.
Chem-Crete YufiX CCC1000 penetrating concrete sealer and water repellent is a unique proprietary formulation of a clear aqueous solution derived from a group of active chemicals. Chem-Crete YufiX CCC1000 chemically reacts with CO² in the atmosphere to become an integral part of the concrete or masonry substrate. The product does not rely on an alkali reaction for it to catalyze within a concrete substrate. ChemCrete YufiX CCC1000 contains no silane, siloxane, silicone or sodium silicate ingredients. Chem-Crete YufiX CCC1000 is colorless, non-staining, non-film forming and will not yellow. Chem-Crete YufiX CCC1000 forms a barrier within the masonry substrate, protecting from weathering and helps keep treated surfaces cleaner by resisting the entrance of air-borne dirt, acid rain, smog, industrial pollutants and most other atmospheric chemicals. Chem-Crete YufiX CCC1000 can be used in above grade and on grade applications to protect against moisture penetration helping to prevent corrosion of steel reinforcing within the concrete substrate. Chem-Crete YufiX CCC1000 eliminates efflorescence and reduces spalling from freeze/thaw cycles.
FIELDS OF APPLICATION
Chem-Crete YufiX CCC1000 It is formulated to protect dense concrete and masonry surfaces in one application, without altering the color or textural appearance of the surface. CHEMCRETE YUFIX CCC1000 seals and protects vertical cracks up to 1/16th inch (1.5mm).
Substrates including Heritage building and structures, pre-cast concrete, tilt-up concrete, monolithic concrete, stucco, clay brick, lime stone, granite, marble and other natural or manufactured stone.

Applicable Standards
- ASTM C-666: Freeze Thaw Testing.
- Exceeds the performance suggested by NCHRP report no. 244 by 75%.
- Reduces the average weight gain of chloride ion content by 82% when compared with uncoated samples.
APPLICATION DATA
Surface Preparation: Surface must be clean, structurally sound and free of efflorescence, mortar residue and other contaminants that would prevent the penetration of ChemCrete YufiX CCC1000. Repair surface defects, cracks and voids. Install caulking or joint sealant prior to application. Cure new masonry surfaces for a minimum of 7 days under normal weather conditions.

Techniques: Chem-Crete YufiX CCC1000 may be applied to a dry or slightly damp concrete using airless or low-pressure spray equipment, brush, roller or broom.
Precautions: When spraying Chem-Crete YufiX CCC1000 water repellent, care should be taken to prevent overspray on nearby articles. It can cure on glass, plastic, aluminum and most metals. If contact does occur, wash immediately with water.
- Do not apply to frozen or frost filled surfaces or when temperature is or expected to fall below 40F (5C).
- Do not use Chem-Crete YufiX CCC1000 to seal cracks or voids greater than 1/16th of an inch (1.5 mm). Keep container closed when not in use.
- Do Not Allow the Product to Freeze

Application: Agitate the pail before using. Apply onto the substrate surface at above given coverage data with an even, uniform spreading rate.
If a white precipitate should form because of over application after curing of Chem-Crete YufiXCCC1000and washing with water does not remove it, it maybe necessary to scrub the surface with a brush.
CLEANING
Use water to clean application equipment and tools, immediately following use.
STORAGE
Two-year shelf life when stored in cool, dry place in unopened drums. Agitate or stir the bucket or drum before using. Do not store Chem-Crete YufiX CCC1000 below 40F (5C).
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
As with all construction chemical products, adequate precautions and care must be taken during usage and storage. Avoid direct contact with foodstuff, eyes, skin, and mouth. Always wear protective goggles and gloves. In case of eye contact, flush for 15 minutes with warm water. Keep out of reach of children.
